Today men are under constant pressure to produce, provide and progress.
Too much of our energy is spent on career or “doing” things. At some point we need to spend time just “being”, with God and others.
At the men’s meetings, we listen and talk, sometimes at curry nights sometimes at special events with an invited speaker.
You’re free to open up or soak up.
As women we carry so much. We seem to think that family, friends, church, work etc. couldn’t possibly cope without us.
Our time is invested in pouring out to others, organising, loving, caring, helping and giving to such a point that sometimes we neglect self.
It’s time for us as women to start out on a journey to seek the ‘presence of God’.
